The history of Yellowstone National Park began when there was a volcanic eruption, the huge one, which splashed over the western part of US. It encouraged the extreme change of the climate and the area, of course. The name Yellowstone was chosen to refer the yellow rocks found in Grand Canyon in Yellowstone. This area was declared as the first national park in 1872; and inscribed as World Heritage Site in 1978 by UNESCO.

The Grand Geyser is the landmark of Yellowstone National Park besides a number of thermal areas including the hot springs and more geysers. It can spout hot water in boiling temperature for more than 15 feet up to the air.

In this park, you can also enjoy the beautiful landscape and flora fauna which will give you the magnificent real wildlife in America.
