Located in the center of Sri Lanka, Kandy is recognized for being the cultural capital of Sri Lanka and the city is in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Site. The air taxi is a new option to the list of transportation to Kandy. The weather in Kandy will remain hot and humid throughout the year and visiting Kandy can be done anytime. However, it may be best to consider coming during November to April.

Visitors may also take a walk or hire a taxi to visit various places in the city. The Temple of Tooth is an example of places to be visited.
